Frasca, Jorge (Contemporáneo)

Argentino, maestro del paisaje, pintor del aire y de la luz. Autodidacta, dueño de un estilo marcadamente individual, aplicado alumno de sí mismo y referente absoluto en su país de una corriente pictórica. Su obra es extraída directamente del paisaje y sus silenciosos ocupantes, las construcciones del hombre que cortan el horizonte.

Atento observador del escenario natural de su tierra, la refleja en gran parte de sus trabajos. Como viajero frecuente de este ancho mundo ha realizado series de pinturas sobre el norte de Africa, Marruecos, Mali, etc. y sobre los pueblos blancos del sur de España y el norte de Italia. La obra de este artista forma parte de colecciones privadas y públicas de Argentina, Japón, Alemania, Suiza, España, Italia, Gran Bretaña, Kuwait, Arabia Saudita, Australia, Estados Unidos, etc. Desde 1980 realiza muestras individuales y colectivas en Argentina y en otros países y no autoriza que su obra participe en ningún premio y/o concurso. Jorge Frasca nace en Buenos Aires en 1945 y desarrolla la mayor parte de su tarea en su país.

As a frecuent world wide traveler he made lots of paintings about north of Africa, Morocco, Mali, etc. and about white towns of the south of Spain and the north of Italy. The work of this artist comprises of private an public collections of Argentina, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Australia, The United States, etc. From 1980, he makes individual samples and collective in Argentina and other countries and it does not authorize that its work participates in no prize and/or aid. Jorge Frasca es born in Buenos Aires in 1945 and most of develops task in this country.
